In a recent survey held by CLUCK, a whopping 86% of people have postponed or cancelled a hen party they were attending due to COVID-19, or knew somebody that had. Which means a massive backlog of hens GAGGING to celebrate when it’s safe to do so. But what will the future of hen parties look like? Here are CLUCK’s predictions –
HEN PARTIES ABROAD WILL BE A NO-NO
64% of you said that post-COVID you wouldn’t be comfortable flying abroad. Nobody (including the government) seem to have a clue what the rules will be (taking the confusing two week quarantine rule as an example) which is putting people off booking holidays overseas. It’s also impossible to predict what the rules abroad will be, and whether the cost of holidays abroad is going to be massively affected – all in all it’s a risk that people aren’t willing to take.
Sadly many groups that had hen parties booked abroad in 2020 will have lost out on money spent on flights, accommodation etc, and therefore won’t be in a position to fork out yet more for the rescheduled hen abroad.
But fear not – here at CLUCK we pride ourselves on the fact that you don’t need expensive hen parties aboard to have a good time. Compared with people being unsure about flying, the vast majority of you were perfectly comfortable travelling to London. When you have all you need for the perfect hen party on your doorstep, why go anywhere else?
HENS ARE LIKELY TO BE ON A TIGHTER BUDGET
Whilst 54% of you don’t think budget will be a problem as you are in the mood to P.A.R.T.Y after weeks of being stuck indoors, 46% admitted you would need to tighten the purse strings. A lot of people have been financially hit, with the majority leaning towards a budget of less than £100 for a one day hen party.
Luckily for you, the experts at CLUCK know all the best places to have a party on a budget. We’ve curated a fab selection of hen party packages including jam-packed itineraries, all for under £100 per person.

STAYCATIONS ARE WHERE IT’S AT

Featuring a gin cocktail masterclass followed by bottomless brunch in a stunning private cocktail lounge, and overnight stay in a 5* hotel with gorgeous interiors and apartments perfect for large groups to relax together, at £180 per person you can live in luxury without the hefty price tag.
The remaining 58% of you that were happy to spend over £200, you might be interested in our “SHOREDITCH STOPOVER” which features a two night stay in the centre of Shoreditch (complete with gorgeous rooftop bar and a stunner of a pool to relax around).
