BEHIND THE SCENES AT CLUCK

It’s been a tumultuous time at CLUCK HQ – but it’s fair to say we are fully back on our feet, with June being by far our busiest month for hen party bookings in the history of the business!

 

We’ve planned hen parties for hundreds (infact thousands!) of lovely hens over the last few months, so we thought it would be a good time to give you a glimpse behind the scenes of our small, busy, business.

 

CLUCK was started by three friends – Sam, Emily & Chloe, off the back of an idea formed over a few drinks in the pub, back in 2016.  The hen party market back then (and still predominantly now), was saturated with tacky hen party companies with awful branding – offering tacky nightclubs with beige food platters, oily strippers and the same old tired activities & workshops.

 

We saw a gap in the market for a company offering unique and cool hen party experiences that would appeal to women like us. Chloe & Emily had worked in the events industry for years, and Sam in accounting & business, so it seemed like the perfect team.

 

Since those young and carefree days (before babies, marriages and mortgages), it’s fair to say we’ve given it our all – spending the first 5 years fitting CLUCK around our full-time jobs, with early mornings, late nights and weekends spent in Emily’s front room (normally accompanied by multiple bottles of wine).

 

The business has evolved hugely since that first excited brainwave in the pub – constantly evolving and adapting to our customer’s needs, and overcoming any pitfalls we faced. We are proud of what we have built – expertly matching activities, dining and accommodation based on budget, vibe and location – creating day and weekend hen party packages that are tried and tested. We offer a seamless planning service, including individual payments (so the lead booker doesn’t have to foot the bill and deal with the chasing) in easy instalments so you can spread the cost. We do all the hard work – so you don’t have to!

 

Nothing makes us happier than receiving feedback after a weekend of hen parties – and seeing all the photo’s is by far the best bit of our job!

 

We take pride in the fact that we are a small, friendly business built by women, for women….and nothing (not even a global pandemic) can stop us! July brings the addition of a new member to our party planning team, as well as focusing on expanding our packages to an array of new and exciting cities. Watch this space!!
