You will use jesmonite to create your pieces which is the ultimate chameleon material – it’s an eco-friendly, non-toxin resin. Think of it as the eco-love child of stone and ceramic, but an even more versatile resin that is super quick to work with (and super instagrammable)! From marbling to terrazzo chips, jesmonite always create a beautiful, unique finish. The colour possibilities are endless!
During the workshop, hen party guests will learn all the skills required to create and pigment their own terrazzo pieces, marbling techniques, and how to measure, mix and cast liquid and powder jesmonite into a mould. You’ll make a terrazzo trinket tray and a marbled candle holder (which will come with a gorgeous pastel candle) to take home with you.
Jesmonite allows you to feel like a chef, scientist, artist and designer all at once. It feels like a combination of hobbies. Each time you peel your creation out of the mould the satisfaction is so real. It’s like, ‘F**k yes, did I just make that?!’.
