In this experience you’ll discover the wild and colourful history of rum, from deep, molasses-heavy, dark rums to mellower golden varieties and refined, versatile, white rums. Warmed up with a classic rum cocktail before your tasting begins, your host will then introduce you to the spirit.

After that, you’ll move onto your tasting session, where you’ll taste six delicious rums of various styles and aging methods and be able to place them against the different colonies making them in their own unique ways. You’ll also learn to taste and ‘nose’ like a pro, which will be very useful for that Barbadian holiday you dream of…

With your rum knowledge up to scratch, your host will then give you a blind taste test! You will be asked to use your new-found skills to name the country of origin, style of rum, how old it is, and place it on the flavour map. See how much you’ve learnt through that snuggly, spicy rum haze…
