Caboose is an American railway cabin in between Shoreditch & Spitalfields, serving slow smoked barbecue. A completely unique dining experience, at Caboose you enjoy your dinner in your own private cabin which is exclusively yours for the evening whilst a private chef cooks a 3-course meal in front of you.
A Caboose is the last carriage on a train, a rolling cabin where the railway workers of yesteryear used to eat, sleep, play cards and hang out. After seeing a derelict Caboose, the team decided it would make an excellent space to serve their food, which itself has made its own slow, smoky journey. In the spring of 2013 they set about building their own Caboose from the ground up. They rolled into Brick Lane 3 months later and have been there ever since.
The menu is about pairing slow smoked meat with fresh flavour combinations that complement this age-old way of cooking. British food means a sensibility for flavour balance and an openness towards global cuisine. They care deeply about the provenance of their meat and the welfare of the animals, as such all the meat is always ethically sourced, free range, and locally sourced wherever possible.
The cabin is perfect for hen parties who want to enjoy delicious food and let loose in a relaxed, private environment. The sound system is wireless so you’ll be able to play all your favourite tunes from your phone and it’s BYOB so they’ll get the ice chest out for you!

Caboose serve a special 3-course fixed menu, the cabin can seat a maximum of 13 people (12 for ease, 13 for squeeze!) and will be exclusively yours for 3 hours. Hire includes your private chef & host.
They can cater or veggies and vegans too!
