Have you ever prepared your own sushi before? Have you always wanted to try? Become a sushi master by practicing with Sakamoto San, Head Chef at London’s Miyako.
Sakamoto San will welcome you with a sparkling Sake whilst sharing his love, knowledge and techniques required to make the most delicious and beautiful sushi you have ever seen. Guests will learn the basics of making sushi with fresh ingredients, covering sushi rice-cooking techniques, sushi-grade fish, equipment and ingredients – all the basics to get you up and running and confident with making your own sushi at home in the future.
You will be provided with a rolling mat, an apron, condiments, and ingredients all laid out in front of you. The masterclass will begin by showing you what to look out for if you want good quality and fresh fish. Sakamoto San will display his fish cutting skills and explain step by step how to roll three different types of sushi that you will then prepare yourselves whilst enjoying Sake.
At the end of the masterclass, you can enjoy the delicious sushi selection with your classmates.
