If you’ve a pal who loves pints, she’s going to absolutely love this unique tasting experience – no beer goggles necessary! The tasting takes place in vibrant Shoreditch, situating you firmly in London’s cool capital of drinking culture. Start off with a beer-based cocktail to ease yourself in, before meeting your class instructor. They’ll take you through a brief (and fascinating) history of how beer’s been a constant companion to humankind throughout time (you don’t have to tell us twice!) to give you a good basis for the next part: the tasting!

You’ll be taking her both back through time and around the globe by spending a couple of hours sampling up to 10 different beers from around the world. The beers are a handpicked selection based on your preference – we’re talking German hefeweizens to Belgian Trappist beer and Alaskan smoked porters. And, of course, they’re served with a cheese board and French bread – we’re sophisticated beer drinkers.

Once you’ve gained the ultimate knowledge and have tasted all of them extensively, you can then choose your favourite and take a bottle home with you.
